Violence Against Women
Attorney General Raoul’s Violence Against Women Unit develops programs and provides information designed to reduce the rate of sexual and physical assault of women, and to ensure the aggressive prosecution of criminals who abuse women.
The Violence Against Women Unit, in partnership with the Chicago Metropolitan Battered Women’s Network, maintains a directory of domestic violence programs, rape crisis centers and social service agencies throughout the state.
