JOB OPPORTUNITIESOFFICE OF ATTORNEY GENERAL POSTING #22-I-3 POSITION CLASSIFICATION: Intern PERMANENT ASSIGNMENT: Deputy Chief of Staff, Administration BUREAU SERVED: Information Technology LOCATION: Chicago or Springfield Office SALARY RANGE: Unpaid SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the direction of the Chief Information Technology Officer, the Intern will be responsible for providing direct technical assistance and support to the OAG IT staff. The Intern will actively contribute to IT projects and assist with day-to-day support including but not limited to hardware, software, desktop support, printer support, mobile device support, network, and programming. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will be working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other related fields. This position requires general knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365. The candidate should be highly motivated, have an ability to self-start, prioritize, and multi-task, with a "can-do" attitude. They must be willing to work collaboratively, have an ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities, and work well under deadlines in a changing environment. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills and attendance are essential to this position. Candidates must be able to work a minimum of 10 hours a week.
