JOB OPPORTUNITIESOFFICE OF ATTORNEY GENERAL POSTING #23-12 POSITION CLASSIFICATION: Grant Monitor I BUREAU SERVED: Violent Crime Victims Assistance LOCATION: Northern IL Regional Office SALARY RANGE: $41,004- $51,948 annually SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists management in determining allocation of resources by evaluating programs and services; compiling information; and monitoring compliance. Obtains information by contacting applicants and others; developing questions; reviewing files and documents; and conducting research. Serves as a resource in areas of general and/or specialized knowledge; attends meetings; and/or assists in preparation of public education materials. Monitors contract performance by quarterly review for determining programmatic and fiscal compliance; provides technical assistance to funded agencies; performs on-site visits; and/or provides referrals when necessary. Assists approved agencies and funding process by negotiating and drafting within approved guidelines grant agreements for assigned, funded agencies; types final agreements; and verifies appropriate signatures. Must keep all information confidential. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops and educational seminars; and reviews appropriate publications. Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing related results in a cooperative and collaborative manner. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Bachelor's Degree in business administration, accounting, management, legal studies, social work, or related field.
