Assistant Attorney General - Child Welfare LitigationTitle: Assistant Attorney General Division: Government Representation Bureau: Child Welfare Litigation The Child Welfare Litigation Bureau of the Office of the Illinois Attorney General seeks candidates for the position of Assistant Attorney General. The Child Welfare Litigation Bureau represents the Department of Children and Family Services and the Director in complex class action litigation, administrative review actions, and other litigation as assigned. Candidates must be licensed in Illinois. Candidates must have strong research and writing skills. Salary and Qualifications: A minimum of two years of post-graduate legal experience is required. New graduates will not be considered. Commensurate with qualifications and experience, salaries start at $79,008 for applicants with the minimum two years of experience as a licensed attorney. Experience in administrative law preferred.
