Job Opportunities OFFICE OF THE ILLINOIS ATTORNEY GENERAL Position: Information Systems Supervisor Bureau: Information Technology (IT) Location: Chicago Salary: Commensurate with experience Summary of Duties and Responsibilities: The Information Systems Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Chief Technology Officer with the supervision of the Information Technology (IT) Bureau’s frontline technical staff, and will help manage the day-to-day administrative activities of the IT Bureau. The Information Systems Supervisor will act as the central clearinghouse for all procurement activities and communication between the IT Bureau and other Divisions and Bureaus in the Attorney General’s Office. In conjunction with the Chief Technology Officer and the Chief Network Administrator, the Information Systems Supervisor will organize and implement technical /training for the IT staff and will assist in the development and implementation of technical policies within the IT Bureau. Minimum Qualifications: This position requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or management of information systems or any related field and 5 years progressively responsible professional experience in information technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This position requires a high degree of professionalism and the ability to work in a confidential environment. Attendance and the ability to maintain positive working relationships with other employees and the public are essential functions of this position.
