Department of Justice Award
At the National Youth Court Conference in Arlington, VA, in April 2002, the Illinois Youth Court Association (IYCA) received a Certificate of Appreciation from the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs.
The certificate was presented in recognition of IYCA's outstanding state efforts to strengthen the quality of Youth and Teen Court Programs in the United States. Through its valuable contributions, the IYCA has played a significant role in advancing the National Youth and Teen Court Movement in America.
