Job OpportunitiesAssistant Attorney General PositionTitle: Assistant Attorney General Division: Criminal Justice Bureau: Medicaid Fraud Location: Springfield The Attorney General’s Medicaid Fraud Control Unit consists of 11 Attorneys working under a federal grant controlled by the Illinois State Police. Under the grant, Assistant Attorneys General are required to perform criminal and civil prosecutions in Illinois State and Federal courts. Medicaid cases relate to fraud of the Medicaid/Medicare system; the abuse and neglect of long term care facility residents; and the litigation of civil qui tam cases in state and federal court. Summary of Duties and Responsibilities Minimum Qualifications Salary: Salaries start at $50,508.
